These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, https://www.thealistni.com/, and your participation in the conference organized by The A-List. By accessing or using our Site, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Site.

2. Intellectual Property

All content published and made available on our Site is the property of The A-List and the Site's creators. This includes, but is not limited to, images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files, and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the website without prior written consent from The A-List.

3. Sale of Goods

These Terms govern the sale of tickets available on our Site:

  • Conference Ticket: £595, which includes access to all educational sessions, faculty interactions, and the Evening Swaree at the Titanic Museum.
  • Additional Evening Swaree Ticket: £100, available for attendees who wish to bring a guest to the Evening Swaree.

We are under a legal duty to supply tickets that match the description provided on our Site. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the complete accuracy of all descriptions or images of our goods. You agree to purchase tickets at your own risk.

We reserve the right to modify, reject, or cancel your order whenever necessary. If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will issue a refund equal to the amount you paid. It is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.

4. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods on our Site:

  • Klarna

When you provide us with your payment information, you authorize our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorize us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument. If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.

5. No Refund Policy

No Refunds

All ticket sales for The A-List Conference are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for purchased tickets, except as required by law.

Exemption from Right to Cancel

Please note that the right to cancel within 14 days does not apply to event tickets under UK and EU consumer protection laws, as this is a leisure activity with a specific date.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

In the unlikely event that The A-List Conference is canceled or rescheduled, ticket holders will be notified, and options will be provided, including the possibility of a refund or exchange.

Transfer of Tickets

If you are unable to attend, tickets may be transferred to another individual. Please contact us at info@thealistni.com to arrange a ticket transfer.

6. Consumer Protection Law

Where the Sale of Goods Act 1979, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The A-List and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in the conference. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided on the website.

8. Indemnity

Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site, you indemnify and hold harmless The A-List and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Country of Northern Ireland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.

10. Severability

If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal, and the rest of these Terms will still be considered valid.
